Fright Fest Film -3

Its been a week since I decided to write on twitter and ask if anybody wants to help make a horror film to enter into Film 4's Fright Festival.

I have to admit, I still have no firm idea. None at all. I have loads of pages of notes all over the house and I'm sure one of them will contain something I have written down that will kick start the idea for the film. I will be meeting with Stephen Longbottom and Jack Down's next weekend and discuss ideas more and I aim to start writing a script by mid October.

I hope everybody knows this will take a while to complete, I said I aim to have the film in the festival in 3 years and if it takes 3 years to make it perfect, It takes 3 years, especially if we make it into a feature film. The script alone will take a while to write as will all the pre production work, the filming wont be done over one weekend and then post production will take a while too.

Myself and Stephen though have come up with a plan to get everybody together so we can all meet and see how each other work. We have a small script, 5-6 pages, which would take maybe 3 days to film. Its a short zombie story with 2 main characters, then half a dozen zombies so not a big cast and we are confident we could film it with the people who have been in touch. There will be no harm entering any film we make into lots of film festivals, it could only benefit us all if they get selected so there is no harm in entering them.
