Fright Fest Film - 4

Its been over two week now since I said I was going to make a film for Fright Fest and I have racked my brain for a fortnight and I am pleased to say that myself and Stephen have come up with a very basic idea for the film, Its the sort of idea that we wish to pursue even if it does not work out as a Fright Fest contender.

At the moment all we want to tell you is that our idea involves a very creepy camera!

We knew as soon as we thought of the idea that it was one we wanted to develop (ha sorry pardon the pun) and we have even thought up a very good idea for a trailer which can actually be shot before the film as it does not feature any action or dialogue that will be used in the film. Tonight we will start working on the plot and in the next couple of days we hope to have the first scene's written.

As I am writing this now Stephen is sat next to me drawing basic storyboards for the trailer. The trailer involves a creepy cellar, the camera mentioned earlier and a mysterious hooded figure.

And now a word from Stephen Longbottom (@SALmations)

Hi Stephen here. Now to start off with, the idea of the creepy camera was an idea that I came up with while watching a music video. I thought to myself (That it's a wonderful world), that bit was a joke, but seriously I thought that most horror's involve masked killers and zombies and all that non-fiction stuff. So I thought why not have a mystical camera be the centre of the film, and that is all I have to say on my part. So I will know pass back to James to say a few final words.

James back, I love the idea of this film, I love the idea of something so ordinary like a camera been the centre of all the horror. I already have numerous shots in mind for parts of the film... Time to start with the plot and then the script!
