Fright Fest Update 6

Since my last blog yesterday I had a brainwave.

So now we have two scripts on the go. As Stephen will be moving to Manchester in the next few days we decided to write a script each and contribute towards each others scripts. The aim? To have two scripts that we can film and look at which one we could enter to the festivals. Maybe both, who knows.

Stephen will be working on the script we have called Captured (Working title) and he will send me rough drafts and I will look them over and send them back to Stephen to continue work on. I will be working on a script I started today that has the title of Littlewoods (Again working title) Again I will be sending Stephen copies, he will make notes and send it back.

I think this is a good idea as we both have started uni, in different cities, and will probably be writing during our breaks at uni or when we get home. I will probably be writing on the train to uni. Skype conversations will probably become a regular thing also to discuss new ideas and update each other on the progress of our scripts.

To tell you a little bit about my new script, I'm aiming for a British slasher film with a hell of a twist at the end. Hopefully it will be like nothing slasher fans have seen before. I have about 5 pages wrote so far and will be sending them off to Stephen pretty soon.

I know its taking a while to get things moving but now we have officially started writing our scripts and when we start it doesn't take long until the first draft is complete, especially Stephen who writes so fast its unbelievable. I wouldn't be surprised if in the next blog I tell you that Stephen has completed his first draft.
